Christelene Horton, PhD, MPH, MS

Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Christelene Horton is an epidemiologist with a diverse scientific background in both epidemiology and toxicology, having worked in industry and academia. She holds a PhD in environmental epidemiology, an MPH in family and community health and an MS in medical and research technology, specifically as it relates to neuropathology. She is an accomplished researcher in her field, having published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals on the effects of Pb exposure and subsequent Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), as well as on axonal degeneration and sensory neuropathy.

Horton currently works as an epidemiologist for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
