At the Gillings School of Global Public Health, we believe that learning is about more than just exposing students to new ideas — it’s about putting knowledge into practice.

In-person Immersions give you the chance to connect with your online cohort and deepen your understanding of coursework through advanced applied learning and interdisciplinary conversations. Immersions include faculty presentations and discussions, as well as development workshops to help students thrive during and after their time with UNC Gillings.
