Alice J. Schenall, MPH, MCHES®, CDP®

Adjunct Faculty

Alice J. Schenall, MPH, MCHES®, CDP®, is adjunct faculty at Gillings School of Global Public Health. For the past three years, she has led a quality improvement department at Rural Health Group, a federally qualified health center. Prior to joining the health center, she spent most of her career at the NC Area Health Education Center (AHEC). Her work focused on health care workforce development in continuing medication education, health professions diversity, recruitment and community health. Most recently, Alice joined the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) to lead cross-sector partnerships to advance health equity. 

Schenall has a Master’s in Public Health from Indiana University at Bloomington. She is a certified health education specialist and certified diversity professional.

Schenall teaches PUBH730 — Quality Improvement in Public Health.
