Kristin Sullivan, PhD

Adjunct Faculty

Kristin Sullivan is an infectious disease epidemiologist with over 15 years of experience. Her expertise includes outbreak response, disease surveillance and supporting clinical and observational neglected tropical disease research. She currently works as a public health advisor for Children Without Worms (CWW), a program of the Task Force for Global Health. In this role, she supports country partners with conducting research, designing new initiatives and providing key technical and strategic support to combat intestinal worms and other neglected tropical diseases. Before joining CWW, she worked for the states of Massachusetts and North Carolina, focusing on communicable disease surveillance and the control and prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from North Carolina State University, a master’s degree in public health from Boston University and a PhD in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
