Leslie deRosset, MSPH, MPH

Leslie deRosset is an implementation specialist at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute and Gillings School of Global Public Health’s Maternal and Child Health Department.

In her role, she utilizes implementation science by collaborating with local and state agencies and organizations, communities, coalitions and other stakeholders to support the implementation of evidence-based programs.

Leslie has worked in public health for more than two decades focusing on maternal and child health. She has extensive experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of multifaceted public health evidence-based programs. She has worked in a multitude of settings, including as the health director at El Centro Hispano in Nicaragua; as the Latino campaign coordinator with the March of Dimes, and most recently as the program manager for Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health with the North Carolina Division of Public Health.

DeRosset holds advanced degrees in public health from both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of South Carolina. In addition, she is a certified Results Based Accountability Facilitator.
