Tina Simpson, JD, MSPH

Tina Simpson, JD, MSPH, serves as a principal with the health strategy consulting firm,

Atrómitos. Her work focuses on value-based contracting, change management and the implementation of care delivery innovations, particularly across Medicaid populations.

Simpson began her legal career as an assistant attorney general with the North Carolina Department of Justice, where she represented the NC Division of Medicaid, the Office of the State Treasurer and a series of occupational licensing boards. Her work focused on administrative rulemaking, board management and public procurement. After eight years of practice as an attorney, Simpson returned to UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health where she received her Master in Science of Public Health.

Simpson currently serves as a board member for the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina and as a council member for the North Carolina Bar Association’s Health Law Section.
